Deaf Southern Star: 2015 (Vol. 37, No. 1)

• Mr New is featured; a neighbour who lived across the road from St Dominic’s in Aorangi. A loyal friend, adviser and advocate who was the Chairman of the St Dominic’s Advisory Board who led some major projects such as arranging with the local Manawatu Oroua Electric Power Board to have lighting installed on the long dark, entrance driveway to the school and having a fire escape slide erected from the first floor dormitory, and organising the school’s water supply.
• Sheryl Allison was home in Palmerston North organising the Russell St. Deaf Unit reunion with Lyneen Allen.
