The Sign Singers feature on Stars on Sunday, Performing 'Born Free'. Filmed on March 3, 1982 at Highwic, Newmarket, Auckland. Four songs were filmed that day at the same time, 'Oh What a Beautiful Day', 'Harmony', 'Born Free' and 'Sailing'. This song screened on Stars on Sunday, TVNZ on May 9 1982. It was also repeated a year later on October 9, 1983. 'Born Free' was a popular song written for the Oscar winning film 'Born Free' in 1966, about a real-life couple who raise a pair of lion cubs to adulthood, to release them back to the wild.
