The Adult deaf, their families and friends of Manawatu will have their first get-together at a picnic on Saturday 20th February at Tokamaru Horseshoe Bed, with a cricket test planned!

  • Sandra Bennett and Rosemary Brouwers were selected for the Canterbury Girls softball under 18 team. They were the only deaf girls in the team. 
  • A new editor for Ephpheta is sought as Maureen will stand down at the end of 1982 due to family and business commitments.
