This TV series (Sunday Magazine) looks at some of the projects young people are getting involved in. This item is about acting in a play about Deaf people, where Patty Still has been teaching the hearing cast NZSL in preparation for their roles.

Patty reveals that she is amazed at how much NZSL the actors picked up in 3 months of lessons with her. Patty has also been working on set through the rehearsals with the cast.

The actors, including the one who plays the lead role of Sarah Norman, share some of their insights since they’ve started working on this play.
