  • Black theme fancy dress party at Manawatu Deaf Society!

A black fancy dress party is held at the Manawatu Deaf Society. It’s very unlikely to have been any problem for members to come in black clothing, considering the fashion scene in Fielding and Palmerston North at that time! Infants and the elderly alike would wear black jeans and Doc Marten boots. It is also a special evening to award a life membership to Keith Gordon for his contributions to MDS over the years. The men, in an attempt to win the best dressed, decide to remove their leather jackets and black tops, going half-naked! Who won the best dressed? Keith Gordon, the newly awarded life member, has the honour to pick the best dressed – who is it? Watch and find out!
