Some of the items featured in the September 2001 issue of ‘Soundscape’:

  • The visit of Samoa’s Silent World Theatre to New Zealand in May this year was an outstanding success, with 12 deaf students at Apia’s Lotto Taumafai Education Centre for the Disabled. They performed in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch and Nelson.
