Some of the items featured in Auckland Deaf Society’s May 2010 newsletter:
- It is John Schischka’s first president report for 2010. The Board of Management also welcomes two young board members: Victoria Skorikova and James Pole.
- Well done to Mary Johnson who received a MNZM recognising her services to the Deaf community. She has spent over 50 years working as a volunteer and raising public Deaf awareness.
- The ADS Bequest plaque was unveiled by Patrons, Laurie Schischka and Dennis Nathan, to honour Deaf and hearing people who have contributed to ADS financially.
