Auckland Deaf Society newsletter: July 1990

Some of the items featured in Auckland Deaf Society’s July 1990 newsletter:

  • There will be a special social evening on Saturday 14 July 1990 at the Deaf Centre from 7.30pm until 1.00am. The Miss Deaf Auckland 1990 contest will start at 8.30am. There will be supper, drinks and dance.
  • The North Zone Sub-Committee invites you all to “The Rugby Jerseys Social Night” at the Deaf Club on Saturday 4 August 1990.
  • ADS Badminton Club had to cancel its Open Championship on Saturday 21 July as there are too many things on as well. There will hopefully be an Open Championship in October.
  • The workshop on Access 2000 was a great success. A steering committee has been formed and the first meeting will be on 12 July 1990 at the Deaf Centre.
