Auckland Deaf Society newsletter: December 1962

Some of the items featured in Auckland Deaf Society’s December 1962 newsletter:

  • 1962 has been a busy and rewarding year for the Committee. They have found time to run two raffles, organise a Jubilee Ball and Dinner, a social once a month and formed a Youth Group which is flourishing.
  • In our own grounds we have two beautiful tennis courts. Tennis is a great game to keep you fit. Why don’t some of you try it? There are bats and balls at the Club just going begging.
  • Annual Picnic to be held at Motuihe Island at the start of the New Year.
  • Deaf Clubs
  • TV/Media
