Auckland Deaf Society newsletter: August 1990
Some of the items featured in Auckland Deaf Society’s August 1990 newsletter:
- The Miss Deaf Auckland 1990 contest was a very successful evening. The winner was Melissa Lakeman. Good luck for the Miss Deaf New Zealand competition at Labour Weekend!
- The Auckland Region ‘Access 2000’ has been formed. The group has been practising their presentation. We would love to see more Deaf people involved either in helping with the presentation or as a support person.
- The ADS Family Club will be held once a month on the third Wednesday. All parents and grandparents are welcomed.
