Rosette: Auckland Adult Deaf Society, worn at Sport Conventions
A blue and white rosette with white writing: AUCKLAND ADULT DEAF SOCIETY, which was the original name of Auckland Deaf Society until 1956. While the rosette was seen in the 1951 Sports Convention in Wellington) and later Sport Conventions – refer to video: ‘Travelling to Wellington for NZ Deaf Sports Convention, 1951’ and ‘NZ Deaf Sports Convention Christchurch 1953’ it is also believed the rosette was worn at the 1949 Sports Convention as well. Screenshots show Auckland Adult Deaf Society athletes/supporters in Central Wellington, with the last two in Christchurch 1953.
