Netball Uniform: Manawatu Deaf Society

White tee shirt with handmade bibs in green. This was the uniform of the Manawatu Deaf Society netball team in the 1970s and early 1980s.

First photo is of the Manawatu Deaf Netball team in 1991 celebrating the 15th Anniversary of the club which was formed in 1976 at the Manawatu Deaf Society’s clubroom. Players dress up in the old uniform. There is also more photos of a fun game against the men and women team at Freyberg High School in 1984. The men team wore this uniform. The men’s team won 22-11.
