A Deaf bowling legend, Barry Kinnaird was well known for his indoor and outdoor bowling achievements, participating in many New Zealand opens, Deaf Conventions and international competitions. He became involved with the Auckland Deaf Society through Sen Smith. Barry takes us through his photos from Titirangi School for the Deaf, his bowling trophies and even models some of his old sport uniforms, with stories accompanying each item. Barry won the New Zealand Indoor Bowls open singles in 1982. He also was part of the winning New Zealand Open Fours team in 1989, 1992 and 2004.

Barry was born in 1938, with the interview filmed 6 April 2003 at his house in Auckland by Dorothy Jones.
