Wool V Neck Jersey: Manawatu Deaf Society
A dark green wool V jersey (100% wool) with two white stripes on the collar. A number of Manawatu Deaf Society members worked at a Manawatu knit factory in the 1970s such as Albert Hanson. Members, upon purchasing their membership, were offered the opportunity to purchase this general MDS club jersey jersey for a rather good price. Members would also wear this for sporting events, such as indoor bowls or NZ Deaf Games during Labour Weekend. The jersey belonged to Russell McNab who donated it to the Club.
