Basketball 'Deaf Boys' - Winners of the Cunliffe Cup

M.Ward, D.Sinclair, J.Ballantine, Owen Gibbons, R.Hanson, A.Liddicoat, M.Bennett (reserve).

The Christchurch Deaf Boys beat Auckland, the holders of the Cunliffe Cup by a point, 29-28. They also beat Wellington 29-25. Basketball is played at the Wellington YMCA.
